Align vs "Other"
Being an AI consultant is both a new field, and at the same time not. There are plenty of companies dedicated to technology solutions and data science, as well as business strategy. Many of these companies (and their employees) can also be advisors and offer consulting services in Artificial Intelligence.

However, Align is relatively unique in at least three ways:
We are "AI-only" , and focus our entire business on questions and solutions related to AI. Other things too (e.g. UX, data architecture, project management), but everything is always in relation to AI.
We focus on the whole, and not mainly implementation (which is an important part of the journey, but hardly the whole journey!). The reason for this is that we believe that the hard part is getting a company to be ready for implementation and making the right implementations. There are a number of companies that have extensive experience with implementations, but in times of change, more is required.
We are basically a network . It allows us to connect with the absolute best consultants (and lecturers), and we are happy to work together repeatedly. But the best often have their own companies and ideas. They do the right thing when it's relevant, but you'll rarely find them at traditional consulting firms.
We bring together experienced consultants from the majority of industries relevant to the AI journey. Below are a couple of common areas of experience that create extra security in the trip. All consultants also have several years of experience specifically with AI projects, and have something "of their own" to contribute.
Workshops
To facilitate understanding and decision-making by engaging people, structuring conversations and finding new insights.
Data
Understanding of the underlying technical and informational architecture, and the techniques used to transform, move and store data.
Change Management
To lead and drive change, with an understanding of the complexity of organizations and how people experience change.
Architecture
Both in terms of business architecture and technical (enterprise) architecture there is experience of how systems and people interact in complex organizations.
Project management
To manage projects of varying complexity, and lead others (both internal and external resources) in implementing according to the plan.
Development
Developing software is not just about writing code, but about building according to refined concepts and with methodologies and experiences that can be trusted.
